A wonderful photograph of a fox in the snow by Ray Hennessy I just had to paint.
I think the biggest problem I had with this piece was identifying the true colour of the blue snow speciifcally above the foxes head. The photo 'I think' was shot with a large zoom through long grass and you can just make out coloured layers of grey and browns way in the forefront of the photograph. It was so blurry and transparent it was hard to distinguish between what is the grass and what is the background colour.
